Sales Manager – Polymer coatings and surface protection solutions
HEGGEL® GmbH, a leading company active in the field of industrial protective coating systems, executive office in Düsseldorf- Germany is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Corrosion Protection Industry to lead our team of sales engineers.
We innovatively design and produce high-performance corrosion protection coatings, linings and floorings for different fields of application. The properties of our products are highlighted by extraordinary chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and weatherability. We generate a broad-spectrum of polymer coating, lining and flooring products ranging amongst the highest performance properties within today's global industry and meet our customers' demands by offering highly efficient and cost-effective world-class solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of sales engineers and distributors
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through innovative and proven methods in B2B sales management
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations, visit customers/sites, negotiate contracts and close deals, leveraging experience, excellent communication, negotiation, know-how and presentation skills.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure seamless sales and support as well as customer satisfaction.
- Provide up-to-date insights on market trends and competition in corrosion protection industry globally
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven track record in B2B sales management, ideally industry-related
- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and German
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities
- An existing international network in the corrosion protection industry is advantageous
- Degree in Polymer Engineering, Material Science, Chemical or Civil Engineering, or similar fields and/or Studies or training in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is preferable
