HEGGEL® Corr

HEGGEL Corr is a novel and extremely high performance protective coating with superior chemical resistance in a wide thermal range from normal ambient temperature up to 550 °C.

The exclusive properties of HEGGEL Corr are based on its unique molecular structure, which consists of both organic and inorganic molecules.

Accordingly, HEGGEL Corr offers a thermally stable highly crosslinked structure, impermeable properties, superior resistance to extremely aggressive chemical stress and excellent mechanical abrasion resistance.

HEGGEL Corr products are applied as a single layer directly to the substrate and cure at ambient temperatures. The application is carried out by airless spraying or optionally by brush and does not require any primer or undercoat. Long service life and easy repairability are further outstanding features of HEGGEL Corr products.

High-Tech Chemical-Resistant Coating

HEGGEL Corr 210 is a two-component hybridised epoxy High-Tech coating, providing special chemical resistance in temperatures ranging from -70°C to +190°C when immersed and up to +250°C when not immersed. This advanced, solvent-free coating is the result of cutting-edge technologies that seamlessly integrate organic and inorganic molecules at a molecular level. This unique blend delivers remarkable thermal stability and creates a highly crosslinked structure, granting an unparalleled level of chemical resistance. HEGGEL Corr 211 is a two-component hybridised epoxy coating that offers exceptional temperature resistance. It is designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -50°C to +170°C when immersed and up to +230°C when not immersed. This innovative coating is the outcome of state-of-the-art technologies that combine organic and inorganic molecular structures at their foundation. The unique fusion of these elements results in outstanding thermal stability and the formation of a highly crosslinked structure, providing an unmatched level of chemical resistance. Once cured, the coating exhibits outstanding mechanical characteristics, including enhanced abrasion resistance and remarkable impact resistance.

Superior Corrosion Resistant Coating

HEGGEL Corr 212 is a two-component semi paste-grade coating based on hybridized epoxy that provides exceptional resistance to corrosion in extremely harsh chemical environments, sustaining optimal performance within temperatures ranging from -70°C to +225°C by immersion and up to +280°C under non-immersed conditions. HEGGEL Corr 212 is a state-of-the-art semi paste-grade coating system developed from innovative technologies that meld organic and inorganic molecular structures at the fundamental level. The resulting thermal stability, and highly crosslinked structure, affords an unmatched spectrum of chemical resistance from sub-ambient temperatures to those exceeding 225°C, with only ambient curing required. The cured coating not only offers outstanding adhesive strength but also displays resistance to sliding abrasion and a notably smooth finish, making it ideal for fluid flow enhancement and sludge build-up prevention. HEGGEL Corr 212 is able to withstand steam cleaning process at temperatures above 225°C. Moreover, the option for an on-site application on the exterior of a hot surface is available through HEGGEL Corr 212.

Erosion Resistant Ceramic-Metal Coating

HEGGEL Corr 250 is a ceramic/metal epoxy coating, specially formulated for resurfacing and protecting equipment against erosion and corrosion. This hand applied coating offers exceptional abrasion resistance, making it particularly effective against areas impacted by erosion and wear damage from particles. Notably resistant to fine particle abrasion, it can be applied up to a dry film thickness (DFT) of 15 mm. HEGGEL Corr 250 is not advised for situations involving cavitation erosion.
